Marina Ballesteros

I taught this lesson to a 4th grade class in an elementary school in Southern California. The lesson focused on adding prepositions to enhance writing. I had students write a few sentences about their spring break. Then taught a lesson on prepositions and then had them edit their sentences to identify or add prepositions to their paragraph. I brought in a hula-hoop and had students use prepositions to describe the location of the object in relation to themselves. Overall, the students were well-behaved because they were engaged in the activity. This activity and an educational YouTube video brought in multiple methods of learning and helped students stay engaged and excited in the lesson.
